Oprah For President?

There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as media mogul Oprah Winfrey accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award during the 2018 Golden Globe Awards Sunday night.  Winfrey brought the house down with a soul-stirring and emotional speech that tackled subjects from; race, misogyny, the “Me Too Movement” and sexual assault. The audience stood to their feet, and the hashtag #Oprah2020 started trending.

HBO’s Big Little Lies, and the motion picture Lady Bird were big winners, as well as actor Sterling K. Brown, who made history as the first black actor to win for Best Actor in a Drama TV Series for his role in NBC’s This is Us.
