Actor (and my homeboy) Nathan James Brings One-Man Show to Pittsburgh

I first met Nathan James over 20 years ago! WOW. We met when we were sixth graders at Rogers CAPA middle school. We took academic and arts classes together; we were Theater Majors. We starred in a revival of Little Shop of Horrors and learned the Stanislavski method from teachers like; Mr. Pona and Mr. Parsons. We did improv, we laughed, we cried and then did more improv.

Fast forward…high school, college and life; Nathan is making moves as an award-winning poet, acclaimed actor and playwright. The Pittsburgh native is bringing his one-man show Growing Pains to the August Wilson Center this month.

I had a chance to catch up with Nate, and talk to him about his show. Watch our interview below, and make sure you check out Growing Pains December 8-9, 2017 at the August Wilson Center.
